It’s hard sometimes – life is not always easy going, right? What do you do when you wake up and your body is aching because you don’t feel good or haven’t slept due to all the anxiety you have? Maybe this happened because your brain wouldn’t stop going over and over all you have to do or random things on your mind last night? You tried meditation, deep breaths – yes… breath in positive exhale negative – open that space up in your head but it is just NOT WORKING!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!! Feels like the weight of the world is just physically crushing you? Well, that is how I feel this morning… What am I doing about it? I asked my ‘Google Mini’ to play some meditation music – it is now playing ‘soundscapes’ – not sure I want this – a bit too upbeat… hmmm – ‘Hey Google – play something soothing like waterfalls’ – now it is playing ‘pouring rain and soothing brown noise’ – Yes!!! This is nice 🙂 and just what I wanted… now to pause my writing while I try a few minutes with a yoga session on my ‘Daily Yoga’ app… Gotta get my head in the game of the day and knock this yucky energy out of me! Okay- just finished up a ‘Stiff Neck Stretch’ session on the ‘Daily Yoga’ app – now i’m starting to feel better!!!! Imagine, I was feeling so beat up and within just about 20 minutes, the tension in my body has noticeably lessened! Wow! That’s pretty impressive especially since I could barely move before. Let’s see what else I can do to help myself… hmmm – hot shower – okay that sounds great! Since I got up and got on my phone with texts and emails I didn’t have a chance to take care of myself. I think this happens to a lot of us these days. People tend to reach out to us when we are asleep or busy doing life things and want or need to be answered right away. It’s pretty stressful right? I remember the days before smartphones, before cell phones even and you know what – I MISS THOSE DAYS!!! Having a weekend off really meant having it off. So what do we do? We adapt!!… I’m back and the hot water seems to have helped! So the between the music, yoga and water I have decreased the negativity and pressure in my body by I think about 90% – IMPRESSIVE!!! So great to feel better!! If this pain persists I will have to take additional measures to remedy it. I have found acupuncture helps reduce my pain when it is intense. This type of treatment isn’t for everyone and I’m not making recommendations here. I’m just saying it is out there and I have found tremendous success with it for treating my neck pain. For more severe cases of pain, please seek out a medical professional. There is only one you, you are unique and precious!!! Please take good care of you!!! Have a powerful positive day! – Purr Out!
